Situated 16kms north of Millicent, in the Limestone Coast of South Australia, the Hatherleigh Golf Course is surrounded by picturesque natural scrubland. The course is run by local volunteers who take pride in the beautiful surroundings. Hole 1: 134 metres in length straight slightly uphill fairway Hole 2: 132 matrimonially fairway with a slight right curve Hole 3: 143 metres elevated green with water course on right Hole 4: 152 metres long narrow straight fairway (longest on course) Hole 5: 85 metres steep uphill straight fairway (green not visible) Hole 6: 135 metres slightly downhill straight fairway (close vegetation on right) Hole 7: 125 metres steep decline with green at the bottom of the gully Hole 8: 147 metres slightly up and down with a notorious pine tree catching the odd stray ball Hole 9: 95 metres downhill decline straight fairway with drop off behind green The Hatherleigh Golf Course is located 16kms north of Millicent, in the Limestone Coast of South Australia. While in the Limestone Coast there is always plenty to see and do such as: visiting the world renowned Coonawarra wine region, swim or fish at the many spectacular nearby beaches, learn about fossils at the Tantanoola or Naracoorte Caves, see first hand just how enormous wind turbines are at the Lake Bonney Wind Farm or visit the magnificent museum and visitor information center in Millicent which houses local arts and crafts. Competitions are run fortnightly on Sundays in the warmer months. Thursday's of each week is ladies day. New members and golfing enthusiasts are most welcome to join in on any of these days, without notification to the Club. Green Fees are $8.00 per day for unlimited holes and are paid on the honesty system at the entrance to the Course.
